As a Hub we respect the imperiled legacy of Dzimbahwe older professional creatives and cultural practitioners as these are very critical to the creative and cultural heritage sector sustainability. We engage in research and documentation of older creatives aging for future generations and upcoming artists. We consider the circumstances and needs of creatives and cultural practitioners in Zimbabwe and help bridge the gap and have them involved in addressing topics such as climate change and environment, digitalization and innovation, peacebuilding and sustainability, children, youth, women and people with disabilities related issues.
This is important project to us as a hub and especially for creatives as their works existence will forever be witnessed. It also help older aging creatives to retell their stories, inspirations and leave footprints on the sands of time and their own country’s history as some of their artworks are bought and never seen again, for the performing artists whose work by nature doesn’t leave proof of existing. The Hub help document these legacy in variety of medias, all goal to preserve and enhancing their stories.
Meet the Older aging generation of creative artists and cultural practitioners who are still working hard to save and preserve our Dzimbahwe legacy.
