- Community Development Projects
Within the rural areas that we operate in they are local communities with deep needs that need to be addressed as well. In all its activities the Hub also consult the community through needs assessment evaluation to see if proposed activity is of benefit to the community at large. Volunteers participate in building schools, clinics, community centers, renovating infrastructure and assisting with agriculture activities as well.
- Educational Programmes.
Volunteer to teach English or technology in Zimbabwe rural schools, and underprivileged areas. Working alongside teachers you will be focused on providing children with quality education. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on work experience in the rural classroom. The hub stuff will support your work and offer you needed guidance when required. You will be able to attend regular workshops with our stuff, teachers, students on attachment and teaching volunteers. - Teaching Cultural Musical instruments.
Volunteer to teach Zimbabwe cultural musical instruments to rural children and local communities. Many children in Zimbabwe especially from the rural areas lack arts and culture education and resources to provide quality arts education. As A volunteer help bridge the gap by introducing and engaging children in practices of cultural instruments such as ngoma, mbira, hosho, marimba. Through such practices one will not only share their passion for art but also trigger their passion for creativity, whilst fostering improved psychological development, self confidence and expression in young creatives. The hub encourages young children to learn how to play there own cultural instrument and when perfect and well trained they will start touring Zimbabwe and the world performing their musical instruments whilst also raising funds to sponsor their after orphanage livelihoods, invest in their livelihoods, future careers and survival through creative talents.
- Volunteer in Arts and Crafts activities.
With the right skills one will be able to be teaching the children and local communities painting, beading, graphic design, jewellery, sculpting, weaving, pottery just to mention a few craft activities.
- Volunteer in performance Arts and Activities.
This outreach allows one to learn and teach performing arts be it music, dance, theatre, drama, musical instruments, poetry in Zimbabwe. Through sharing your expertise you will be nurturing the next generation of young performers and creatives.
- Partner and collaborate with locals.
