Youths creativity incorporating art and cars have been bringing more increased employment opportunities and creativity to the artists and local communities. This have resulted in decreased criminal activities as local youths spends most of their time at the workshop building cars. So don’t be surprised to witness lot more CarArt throughout the communities in future. The leading youths in this project Obey and Aaron Kuvenguhwa are thrilled to share this project with their community and other youths, opening more economic empowering opportunities for them and hopes, that the project will entail a variety of creative CarArt artists, students and community members participating in the building of old scrap cars. CarArt project for the creatives youths is so interesting because they’re sort of a driven expression of oneself, as they are as unique as the drivers that have them as the artists completely change the entire shape of their cars instead.
The community has been encouraging and supporting the CarArt projects and also bringing their own personal cars to be modified in an artistic way. These young creatives have been able to reach out and inspire younger audience for this project and encourages that other youths be heavily involved with the process as it’ll be a learning curve. The brothers have created more than an amazing different CarArt projects and their creative ideas provided the impetus for other youths and local community members to expand the cultural commitment of our CarArt to promote the creativity of young artists in Zimbabwe Africa. CarArt is a vehicle that has had its appearance modified as an act of personal artistic expression and is often driven and owned by their creators, who are sometimes referred to as ‘Cartists’. The youths dream is to host a carart festival in Zimbabwe to showcase their creative talents as they believe that creating and driving an art car daily is its own reward.
